A Fantasia plate titled "Autumn Ballet" created by Vernon Kilns in 1940. Featuring a lovely and elegant flower pattern based on the Walt Disney studios brilliant musical film "Fantasia" (1940), the plate was designed by studio artist Gyo Fujikawa. The dishware was released by well known American ceramic company Vernon Kilns, and bares their stamp and copyright on the bottom of the plate. Vernon Kilns utilized the talents of Disney's studio artists to ensure their dish ware captured the beauty of the film. Measuring 13.75" in diameter and 1" thick, the plate is in very good condition.
