Roger Rabbit was groundbreaking for the mastery accomplished with mixing animation and live-action footage. Bringing the entire Toontown to life, required a plethora of animated characters, and this merging of characters from many studios is one of the reasons the film is so beloved. This collage features a variety of original hand-painted production cels that have all been trimmed to their respective character images and applied to a new board . This collage was created by the studio specifically for the 1989 auction where artwork from Who Framed Roger Rabbit was first sold to the public. The characters in this collage include Tinker Bell, Bambi, Baby Herman, Snow White, Donald Duck, Jessica Rabbit, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pinocchio, Roger Rabbit, Benny the Cab, and the Toon Patrol weasels; Smartass, Greasy, Wheezy, Psycho, and Stupid. This is a very rare piece that features multiple original hand-painted animation cels from the 1988 Disney feature film. The piece is in its original mat from the 1989 auction. The collage setup is in very good condition.
