A production cel from the Disney Studios animated film "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" (1949). Featuring the charming Ichabod Crane bowing before the beautiful Katrina, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame that was photographed and appears in the segment titled "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow." Measuring 12.75"x11.25" overall, with the character image measuring 6.25"x5.5" on an angularly trimmed 8.5"x6.75" cel, the cel is in very good condition. The piece has likely been restored, and exhibits light scratches, age-related rippling and warping, and minor adhesive residue. The mat displays minimal edge and corner wear, and the cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
